The difference between the Hearing Aid Acoustician Foundation and Advanced Programme

The diagram below shows the programmes currently offered and developed by Eduplex Training Institute:

This programme is ideal for persons with long term experience in working with adults with hearing loss who wants to work with infants and children with hearing loss.

This programme is ideal for persons who want to work independently as a hearing aid acoustician.

This programme is ideal for persons who want to start working as a hearing aid acoustician, who will be working with a qualified hearing aid acoustician and/or ear nose and throat specialist

 

The difference between the Hearing Aid acoustician Advanced and Foundation Programme is described in the table below:

Foundation Programme Advanced Programme
Where can I work? Persons who complete the foundation programme are advised to do hearing tests and hearing aid fittings under supervision of a hearing aid acoustician or an ear, nose and throat specialist. Persons who complete the advanced programme are recommended to work independently, as part of the hearing health care team to do hearing tests and hearing aid fittings.
How will I learn? Online reading and assessments.
